We’d love it if you’d submit your story.
I use Microsoft Office so if you have Microsoft Word, please use that. I can also cut and paste from the text of an e-mail. If you don’t have either of those options, contact me so we can work something out.
We need to know the following
- Can we use all or part of your real name, a pen name, or do you want to be anonymous?
- Who you are, what do you do? Include a brief bio if possible.
- Would you like pictures included with your story? Three or four, max, please
- What title do you suggest for your story?
- Are you willing to share your contact information in case someone wants to learn more?
Other Considerations
Unless we discuss this and agree to something different, your story will not be changed in any way other than to correct spelling and grammar errors. In cases where spelling and grammar errors occur in a quote, the errors will stand as submitted. Stories should be relatively short (about 1,000 words…a 4-5 minute read) without sacrificing the impact of the store. Longer stories will be considered to be published in chapters. If you would like to include original photos, please do. Stock photos or those taken from the internet may be subject to royalties and could get both of us in trouble.
